Date:2026-03-30Page view:

To fully implement the requirements for campus safety and stability and earnestly care for students’ growth, on March 29, 2026, Zhu Lin, Deputy Secretary of the College Party Committee, led all counselors and key student cadres of the College Student Union to conduct a comprehensive safety and sanitation inspection in student dormitories.

The inspection team focused on identifying potential safety hazards including unauthorized electrical appliances, random wiring, piles of flammable debris and blocked fire exits. Meanwhile, they examined dormitory sanitation and provided guidance on dormitory cultural construction. During the inspection, faculty members chatted cordially with students to learn about their adaptation to campus life in the new semester. They repeatedly urged students to firmly establish the awareness that "safety comes first", strictly abide by the university’s dormitory management rules, and jointly maintain a clean, tidy, safe and harmonious living environment. For problems found on site, the team put forward rectification suggestions immediately and required relevant dormitories to make instant corrections. Student cadres were assigned to supervise and conduct re-inspections to eliminate safety risks at the initial stage.

This dormitory safety inspection constitutes a vital measure for the college to deliver thorough and detailed daily safety education for students. It has not only effectively eliminated hidden dangers in dormitories and strengthened students’ safety awareness and sense of discipline, but also conveyed sincere care to all students. Moving forward, the college will keep track of dormitory safety conditions, foster a safe, civilized and harmonious dormitory atmosphere, and build a higher-quality educational environment.
