To better facilitate communication and exchange between students across all grades and the college leadership, counselors, and faculty, Limerick International College held a teacher-student meeting on November 8-9, 2025. College leaders, relevant faculty members, full-time and part-time counselors, and all undergraduate and postgraduate students of the college attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Zhu Lin, Vice Dean of Limerick International College.
At the meeting, Zhang Changsen, Dean of the College and Secretary of the Party Committee, first, on behalf of all the college's faculty, extended a warm welcome to the students returning to Limerick International College. Secretary Zhang reviewed the college's development history and its distinctive educational features. He emphasized the importance of the teacher-student relationship, as well as setting academic goals and ambitious life aspirations. He urged students to cherish the present, utilize their strengths, plan their objectives, and achieve qualitative leaps through accumulated, down-to-earth efforts, which greatly inspired the attendees.

Following this, Yang Jie, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Gui Weifeng, Director of the Party and Administration Office, and Li Yaojin, a full-time counselor for the Class of 2025, respectively delivered speeches. They engaged with students on various aspects including academic affairs management, discipline management, dormitory management, fire safety and personal security, online fraud prevention, academic studies, and campus life. They also addressed relevant questions raised by the students.
While presiding over the meeting, Vice Dean Zhu Lin focused on ideological guidance, safety education, mental health development, and opportunities for studying abroad. He shared positive prospects and earnest expectations for the students' upcoming university years.

University is not only a place for imparting knowledge but also a home for the shared growth of teachers and students. The teacher-student meeting concluded in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere. This meeting helped bridge the distance between teachers and students, laying a solid foundation for future teaching and learning activities. The college plans to host more similar exchange events to continuously promote teacher-student interaction and jointly foster a positive learning environment and a warm, harmonious college culture.
