To welcome the National Day and enrich the lives of faculty and staff, Limerick International College and the Academic Publishing Center jointly organized a “Welcome National Day” fun sports event on the afternoon of October 30 at the university's tennis stadium. The atmosphere was lively, filled with continuous laughter and joy.

"Curling on Land" event

Touhu

Soccer Shooting Grid
The event, guided by the principles of “fun, collaboration, and joy," featured three team activities. Participants were randomly divided into three teams to compete. In the"Curling on Land" event, team members transformed into strategists, carefully aiming and engaging in enthusiastic discussions, with every precise throw eliciting cheer. The "Touhu" (ancient Chinese arrow-throwing game) competition brought a touch of classical elegance. Participants focused intently on their throws, with arrows either landing smoothly in the pot or narrowly missing, accompanied by applause and cheers that highlighted the modern charm of this traditional game. The "Soccer Shooting Grid" raised the excitement to a new high. Regardless of skill level, everyone eagerly took their turn, with soccer balls sometimes flying straight into high-scoring zones and other times playfully veering off course, creating constant laughter both on and off the field.
Throughout the event, the three teams competed closely, fostering greater understanding and collaboration in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Participants relieved stress through physical activity and strengthened team bonds through shared laughter, preparing to face future work with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
