To enrich the extracurricular lives of faculty and staff and promote interaction between Chinese and international educators, the Trade Union of Limerick International College organized a hiking activity on the afternoon of October 21. All faculty members, along with international teachers, ventured to the Colorful Trail of Zhamen Canyon in Zhaozhuang Village for an autumn hiking experience.

In the heart of October, the autumn scenery of the Taihang Mountains was at its most vibrant. Faculty members strolled along the winding paths, immersed in the breathtaking landscape where crimson leaves intertwined with majestic rocky cliffs. Taking a break from their busy schedules, they enjoyed the fresh air and the beauty of nature amidst laughter and cheerful conversations.

Throughout the hike, Chinese and international teachers walked side by side, occasionally pausing to admire the scenery and take photos, while engaging in warm conversations and offering mutual encouragement. The atmosphere was relaxed and harmonious. The international faculty expressed their admiration for the autumn splendor of the Taihang Mountains, noting that the activity provided them with a deeper appreciation of the natural and cultural charm of northern China.

The event not only effectively alleviated work-related stress and promoted physical well-being but also strengthened the cohesion and team spirit among the faculty. Additionally, it offered a valuable platform for interaction between Chinese and international staff, further fostering a harmonious, inclusive, and internationalized campus culture.
